Who I am....

Hi, I’m Theresa, a wedding celebrant with a big love for life stories and even bigger love for weddings.

 

My journey started in a very different world, as a funeral director. Spending years hearing and sharing incredible life stories made me realise something: stories are everything. They’re what connect us, what make life meaningful. So, I decided to take that passion and creativity and put it somewhere a little different, creating wedding ceremonies that celebrate your love story in the most personal, beautiful way.

 

I’m not about one size fits all ceremonies. Your day should feel like you, every word, every moment, every detail. That’s why I spend time getting to know you, learning your story, your quirks, your vibe, and then weaving it all together into a script that feels effortless, romantic, and completely unique to you. My couples often say I have a knack for taking their words and elevating them into something magical—and honestly, that’s the best compliment I could ask for.

 

If I had to sum up my style in three words? Personal, natural, unforgettable.

 

I’m still a Funeral Director, and will be forever, so when I’m not looking after families or writing ceremonies, you’ll usually find me with an iced coffee in hand, lighting far too many candles, rummaging through charity shops for bargains, or gossiping over a slice of cake. I live in the West Midlands with my husband (we had an amazing celebrant-led ceremony I wrote myself!), my 18 year old man-child, our two dogs, Luna and Reign, and a tortoise called Sebastian.
